The forsaken are a group of outcasts, rogues, and troublemakers, hired out on a rare occasion if the price
is right but more often than not out to persue thier own goals as well as gain support for thier guild and so earn a name
for themselves.
Each should bring unique skills to the community from soldiering experience to healing talents, smiths
to pick pockets, magic arts to the power of faith and so each has thier own worth.
The Creed of the Dragon's Eye
Before all else your fealty is sworn to your guild. Braking fealty without seeking a master for release
is the equivalent of treason among your kin. the guild is like your family, once sworn we will always support you, even should
your heart take you elsewhere.
A broken oath without release is penalty to being outcast and hunted depending on how severe the treason
against the group.
Though the guild stands as a community of its own, our level of trust goes hand in hand with
how loyal you are and what you bring to the guild.
Your title within the guild does not need to be known to any outside the guild. It is up to you if you want
to advertise your status to others in the land, but please respect those that keep it a secret, we have our spys and allies
who are honorary guardians, who will not want to advertise thier loyalties as it may prove a problem.
Before you have taken the oath you are an initiate. You are not trusted at this point
with the true secrets of the guild but are taught and watched in an attempt to see your potential and find your worth, and
possibly your nitch. (rp we are watching your role playing skill, and what sort of personality your character holds)
When your loyalty is proven you will raise to the title of guardian of the eye, at which point you
will work with a number of the Masters at several arts as well as in improving on your own core skills.(rp depending upon
the skills you have and what you bring to the rp this will be a set amount of time, one lesson for three master is the minimum
requirement for rp sake since I know not everyone wants to spend all thier time 'training' and want to get to the real fun
of it.)
At this point to move on you have to prove yourself a capable teacher as well as student, and will be
obligated to look for potential members. rp- wise you will have to set into motion a plan to make some interesting roleplay,
gain prestige for the guild, and bring to the group some important information or contacts that could lead to such. With time
and commitment, and completion of the tasks set before you, you'd come to be one of the council if you prove
a strong leader, a Master if you prove stronger in another specific skill, or a priest or a priestess
if that is your calling.
There is all possibility of becoming all or just one. The matter of the priesthood is still
under works, but that is the core of our power, concerning the eye of the dragon, the treasure for which we are named and
over which we hold council as well as swear our oaths. The faith is focused on the power within this stone than would bind
us to each other stronger than the ties of blood.
Specific to the Dragon's Eye...
The dragon's eye is a soul stone from an ancient dragon, and though he is long dead his soul and the
magic within the stone still lingers. In times of great need a master of the forsaken can call upon the powers of the stone
to protect them or heal them, or whatever they need as long as it is nessicary and not just to use the stone, the consequence
of using the stone makes the person who used it a little more draconic. thier senses become a bit sharper and thier appearance
may become minutely more serpant like, but if they only use the stone a few times these changes will not be noticable to the
naked eye. If they abuse it and use it too often they will eventually become more like the dragon who's soul they protect
than themselves, and not only will thier appearance change but thier definition of self will change as well as thier tendancies.
A vegitarian would hunger for meet, for the hunt of catching thier prey, someone who dislikes killing to begin with will find
themselves picking fights, and so on and so forth, and even those who care nothing for material things will become possesive
of thier posessions seeking to make a greater hoard of treasure for themselves through whatever means possible.

This Guild is a part of the text based RPG called Karchan.
Anyon who does not know of karchan can not be a part of the guild, and even if a member of karchan, need to be asked by a
memeber to join, and must earn their rank through roleplay and such deeds as deemed needed by the founders, until enough masters
stand to teach the initiates and guardians.
NEWS!!!
FEB 21st! Please respond to mail sent to you! If you do not respond you will be booted
from the guild! those who respond will attain status as a forsaken brother or forsaken sister. This means you will have an
individual title as a brother or sister that will follow with you even should this guild fold ( whish it will if fewer than
5 people respond) The brotherhood will be called on upon occasion for certain tasks for a storyline soon to be set in motion.
this is your only chance to join the brotherhood, there will be no more members after this, though we may have new initiates.
the brotherhood will be solely those who were in this first contigent of the forsaken.
In an attempt to make this guild a guild I want people to duel and such and send it to me so I know its going on,
since very few of you have even bothered to respond it makes it hard for me to include anyone in rp ideas. I am going to work
on making a message board for this group alone so that we may volley off ideas to make this group work. Until than look for
potential members!
Members are encouraged to rp as much as possible and keep the founders updated on what is going on
in each of your individual storilines. Please send copied of your duels to me, Nitesco. When I have a few of them together
I will start another page of duels members have done so that we have something to look back at should we need inspiration,
though I think we've got some talent going for us already. do not be too confident, do not fall into using the same generic
moves, and try to experiment with different teniques and attacks when you have the opprotunity. variety keeps the enemy on
thier toes. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves and have been checking thier mail
periodicly for news.
